The current bickering among the leaders of All Progressive Congress(APC), Delta State has been described as a dangerous clog in the wheel of progress and development of the party.

Delta North Women leader of the party, Chief(Mrs) Gloria Afiari made the assertion while fielding questions from journalist.  She expressed unhappiness over the situation and called on party leaders to come together for a way out.

Hear her, “I think the crisis is born out of greed and selfishness, and urged them to close ranks and drop their ego trip and foster unity for the general good of the party.

The women leader called on fellow party women to prevail on their husbands, brothers, relatives and friends to end the battle of supremacy and eschew bad blood, considering that the battle ahead will not be worn in this atmosphere of bitterness and rancour.

Chief, Mrs Afiari, said the place and value of women in electoral process  cannot be overlooked, pointing out that the crisis has greatly diminished the fortunes  of APC in the state.

Describing politics as a game of choice and number, the woman leader emphasised that those decamping from APC to PDP lack consistency and stability to build a formidable opposition.

“In my opinion, those who were said to have decamped are bread and butter politicians whose belly is ultimate and seeing that money is not flowing now they run away”, she observed.

On the forthcoming general elections come 2023, she counselled APC women to be resolute and steafast by keeping their camps intact, noting that women formed the bulk and number of electoral victory in any society or any nation in any nation and promised Delta North APC women better and brighter days come 2023.
