The Commissionser For Works Rural Roads and Public Communication, Mr Charles Aniagwu has clarified the the reason Elder, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oboreveori, Governor of Delta state emerged winner of Governor of the year award organized by Thisday/Arise

According to Commissioner for Public Communication, Governor Oborevwori was found worthy of the award for his effective and efficient management, deployment of the state’s finances in infrastructure development in addition to many other milestones in the Delta State

The commissioner made the assertion during a recent press briefing in Asaba, state capital against falsehood being paraded by the opposition APC, led by former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.

” We thought were alone in terms of observation, but liltte did did it occurred to us that even in far away Lagos and Abuja, editors of the media outlets were also busy with their eagle eyes taking copious notes, satisfied about Oboreveori’s many achievements down here

Then hear the commissioner public Communication on the Ndokwa Nation:
“If he is asking our people of Ndokwa Nation what we have done for them, I will remind him that, in Ndokwa Nation, we have awarded no fewer than 15km of roads. We have completed the Obi-Ibabu road which is over 4km awaiting inauguration.

The Ndemili-Utagba Uno road and the Eweshi – Utagba-Uno road are being pursued vigorously.We have also awarded a road in Amai which has progressed to stone base; at Aboh in Ndokwa East, work is also ongoing. Then the Beneku Bridge linking Nkwaa East communities with their kiths kin Ndokwa West for many years. The list is endless,”
