The commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu made the assertion while fielding question from a reporter on the iminent threat posed to PDP by massive mobilisation of the third force, a
phenomenal, lately in the history of elections in Nigeria.
The commissioner, however, was saddened, that Deltans have failed to appreciate the massive infrastructure put in place by the Okowa administration, evident through their votes in the last election.
He said that the masses, particularly, residence of the state capital have failed to make critical analysis of the effort of Okowa led administration in building the city to enviable status, and even other nearby communities which benefited most, almost returned zero votes.
He called on Deltans to mend their ways in the forth coming gubernatorial election and vote massively for the PDP in all levels of the elections
He said that the Peoples Democratic does not believe in vote buying because the achievements of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa are enough materials to campaign with.
He called on the masses to disregard the opposition political party, APC, which was notorious for spreading lies and propaganda to score cheap political point.
He observed that PDP was very comfortable with the presence of other parties as PDP remains the dominant party and the only one to beat in Saturday election.
The Information Commissioner therefore appealed to Deltans to vote for Him. Sheriff Oborevwori as governor and PDP candidates in the State House of Assembly.
He maintained that Oborevwori was able to conduct the affairs of the State House of Assembly for six years, describing it as a wonderful political feat.
Oborevwori, according to Aniagwu, is a pan Deltan who shall build on the legacy of the Okowa administration.
The Information Commissioner described the PDP governorship candidate as a grassroots man who is ready to unite Deltans for he is another development minded individual.
