The leadership of Urhobo Ethnic Nationality of Host Communities producing oil and gas HOSTCOM, has insisted that the purported inauguration of State Exceutives of HOSTCOM held at Kwale in Delta State was illegal, unconstitutional and never followed due process.

This was contained in a communique issued by Urhobo Ethnic Nationality of HOSTCOM, at a general meeting held on 3rd October, at Ughelli Kingdom Hall, Ughelli, Delta State.

The communique signed by Urhobo Ethnic Nationality Chairman, Comrade Pender Agwarive and Secretary, Mr. Emman Sopian, they disassociated themselves from the alleged illegal inauguration of State Executives led by Mr. Sunny Ndidi Enujeke.

” The leadership of Urhobo Ethnic Nationality of Hostcom is aware of the Court case presently pending at the Effurun High Court challenging the appointment of Mr. Sunny Ndidi Enujeke led Interim Management Committee. In addition to the Warri High Court case involving the National body of HOSTCOM.”

According to them, ” The action and illegal inauguration of the factional State Executive by Mr. Sunny Ndidi Enujeke is Sub-judice since the matter in Court is yet to be determined.”

” Whenever the Court cases are disposed off and when the time comes for the various ethnic nationalities to recommend persons to be appointed into the State Executive, that time Urhobo Ethnic Nationality will also officially forward names of it’s State officers for the Delta State Chapter’s inauguration.”

It continued ” It is laughable on how an interim management committee that has a ninety ( 90) days life-span and headed by Mr. Sunny Ndidi Enujeke, which was one of the matters before the Effurun High Court eventually metamorphosed itself into a full blown State Executives of Hostcom when the Courts were in recess”.

They urged all HOSTCOM members and general public to disregard the illegal inauguration of any State Executive led Mr. Sunny Ndidi Enujeke, adding that the National Chairman of HOSTCOM must desist from perpetuating any act capable of undermining the Delta State chapter of HOSCOM.
