University of Ibadan(UI) Asaba, 2024 annual lecture series has been scheduled for 19th September, at the Unity Hall, Government House.
This indication is as contained in the invitation signed by the chairman lecture planning committee, Kemi Emina, P. HD, and secretary, Mr Emmanuel Dudu respectively.
According to other information contained therein, personalities that will grace the occasion are; immediate past Governor of Delta state, Senator, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, who will serve as chairman at the occasion, while the special guest of honour is Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, the guest lecturer is Prof Andy Egwunyenga, vice chancellor of Delta State University (DELSU) Abraka.
The theme of this year’s lecture is INTERGRITY AND NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT: WHAT NEXUS?
Other guests of honour are; Sir Monday Onyeme, deputy governor of Delta State, Rt Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly and General Ogomudia, chairman, governing council, DELSU, Abraka.
The royal father of the day is HRM Obi Nduka Ezeagwuna, the Obi of Issele Uku while the spiritual father of the day is Rt. Rev. Kingsley Obuh, Bishop of Asaba (Anglican Communion).
The ceremony is billed to start 2pm.
