Tambuwal and Obasanjo
Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo behind closed doors at the elder statesman’s residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
The duo met on Sunday at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) Penthouse residence to discuss national issues.
According to Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi, Tambuwal arrived at about 1.30 pm with some of his key aides and went straight into the meeting with Obasanjo.
Akinyemi stated that Obasanjo and his guest came out at about 2.40 pm, after which Tambuwal took his launch with his entourage and headed for the mosque inside OOPL to observe salat (prayers) before leaving the complex.
