The Senator-Elect for Anambra Central, Senator Dr. Victor Umeh OFR (Ohamadike Ndigbo) has expressed his deep emotions over the death of an erstwhile Senator that represented Anambra Central Senatorial District in the 6th Assembly Senator Annie Okonkwo (Okaka Ojoto).
Describing him as a friend and brother; a “big philanthropist and compassionate personality” he noted he received the news of the death of Senator Annie Okonkwo with shock and great disappointment.

Senator Umeh who affirmed that his death has robbed many people of a big philanthropist and compassionate personality further extended his condolences to his Wife Lady Chinyere, his Son ,House of Representatives Member-Elect, Hon Uchenna Harris Okonkwo and members of the Okonkwo Family of Ojoto in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State
