Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu, UNESCO Laureate, and Vice-Chancellor, Crown University Int’l
has mourns the demise of his beloved father, late Alhaji Abdul Gafar Abdul Kareem Aremu who died at age 120 years. He has been buried according to muslim rite.

Acvording to Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu, World Acclaimed Distinguished Professor of Computer Science, Information communication, in a press statement made available to Journalists in Asaba, Delta State, described late father as a seasoned businessman and a devout Moslem Cleric.

late Alhaji Abdul Gafar Abdul Kareem Aremu hails from the Ancient City of Iwo in Osun State Nigeria. Before his demise he was one of the eldest persons in Osun State.

Late Aremu’s son and UNESCO Laureate, stated further that, his father was blessed with long life, living legend in Osun, said, his father’s story will not be complete without mentioning his exceptional display of good cultural values of African origin with sense of humour, very generous full of wisdom, discipline and religious tolerance while he was alive. He added that such life values, ethical codes has helped his children like him and his siblings to Excell in life.

He noted that, his father, late Alhaji Abdul Gafar Abdul Kareem Aremu great grand father, Grand father lived his entire life serving humanity, and a Community leader per excellence.

He added that his father’s departure no doubt, is a moment of sadness to him when he remembers the words of wisdom he got from him on daily basis while he was alive.

He is however, consoled with the fact that he lived s fulfiled life and prayed almighty God to receive the soul of his beloved father in the Bossom of the Lord”.
