Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky Foundation has given more than 2,000 copies of 80 and 60 Leaves notebooks to pupils of some primary schools in Agbor(Ika South Local Government Area) and Ute-Erumu(Ika North East Local Government Area). The beneficiaries are pupils of Agwai Primary School, Aliagwai, Okpu Primary School, Aliokpu, Agbor- Nta Primary School, Agbor- Nta, Ojisi Primary School, Agbor- Nta, St Gregory Primary School, Oki, Omu Izehen Primary School,Ekuku-Agbor, Omien Primary School,Ekuku-Agbor, Erumu Primary School,Ute-Erumu, Iyama Primary School, Ute-Erumu and Igiogwa Primary School,Ute-Erumu.
Speaking during the notebooks distribution exercise, the Founder/President of the Foundation, Mr Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky said that the exercise was out of his desire to support education, particularly at the elementary level.
He noted that education remained critical in life, hence, every parent and guardian should ensure that his or her children/ wards are well educated.
Monye, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ika South Local Government Area, stressed the need for education to be taken seriously as it is the surest way to achieve sustainable success in life.

He thanked the teachers in the various primary schools visited by his Foundation, urging them not to relent in the good work they are doing in the moulding of the pupils.
While advising the pupils not to tear the notebooks or use them to build flying kites but, rather use them to take note at school, he assured that his Foundation would continue to contribute its quota towards the growth and development of education in Ika Land.
In their separate responses, the Head Master of Agwai Primary School, Aliagwai, Mr Bethel Obuh, on behalf of his school, expressed appreciation to the Foundation for identifying with his school. He prayed to God to bless the foundation for its commitment to the development of effective formal education.
At Okpu Primary School, Aliokpu, the Head Mistres, Mrs Helen Apaokwueze, said,”On behalf of my teachers and pupils,I wholeheartedly thank Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky Foundation for its support. We are very glad that our school benefitted from the exercise. We urge him not to relent for God will certainly reward his efforts.”

For the Head Mistress, Agbor -Nta Primary School, Agbor- Nta, Mr N.Gbenoba,” We are grateful to Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky Foundation for supporting the education of pupils in our school. We urge him not to relent in the good he is doing, particularly in the area of education. May God reward the Foundation for it’s selfless service to humanity and the society at large”
On her part, the Head Mistres, Ojisi Primary School, Agbor -Nta, Mrs, Nwajei Victoria said, “This gesture by Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky Foundation is highly commendable. My school appreciates it much. Our prayer is that the good Lord will continue to bless him.”
Also, the Head Mistres, St Gregory Primary School, Oki through her assistant, Mrs Nwose Esther, while thanking Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky Foundation wished the founder, Mr Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky successes in all his endeavors. She prayed to God to bless both the founder and the entire members of the Foundation.
At Omu Izehen Primary School, the Head Mistres, Mrs Faith Agidi, on behalf of her school, expressed joy over the good work Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky Foundation for humanity. She said that the gesture would encourage teaching and learning in the school as parents of some of the pupils had not been able to buy notebooks for their children.
She wished the founder of the Foundation good health, progress and long life.
For the Head Mistres at Erumu Primary School,Ute-Erumu, Mrs H.Eligbe who also spoke on behalf of her counterpart at Iyama Primary School, Ute-Erumu as the two schools share the same premises, said that they were overwhelmed with joy with the support Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky Foundation had given to their pupils.
They assured the Founder that gesture would be reciprocated as they would ensure that the books were used by the pupils rightly. They commended the founder of the Foundation, Mr Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky for using his hard earned money to support education, and enjoined him not to relent in his good work for the Almighty God will keep lifting him up.

In her response, the Head Mistres, Iwagiogwa Primary School, Ute-Erumu, Mrs P. Onyejebose, said herself, teachers and pupils were very happy with the notebooks they received freely from the Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky Foundation. She assured that the books would go a long way in encouraging the pupils to come to school. ” It is my prayer that the Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky Foundation will keep moving forward. May the most high God continue to provide for the founder of the Foundation, Mr Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky.
The last school that was visited during the two- day Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky Foundation free notebooks distribution exercise was Omien Primary School, Ekuku-Agbor where the entire staff were elated with joy and took turns to bless the Foundation and wish its founder excellent results in all his endeavours in life.
Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky Foundation is a non- governmental organization established about a decade ago to support humanity and the society. The Foundation has since its establishment been contributing meaningfully to growth and development.
A respected community leader and Chairman, Agbor Development Forum, ADF, Mr Macaiah Okoh disclosed that the Foundation had done greatly. He described the founder, Mr Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky, as a visionary, honest, hardworking and peaceful man who wants the good of everyone irrespective of religion or tribe.
The beneficiaries(Pupils) of the various schools visited sang and prayed for the Foundation and its founder and promised to make good use of the notebooks.
