Against the long awaited State Gubernatorial and House Of Assembly elections are here. Millions of Nigerians are getting ready to exercise their franchise once again, to elect the candidates of their choice. However, there are some reports of violence in some polling units in Lagos, thereby preventing voters go cast their votes.
In a video which has surfaced online, a group of people were seen as they protest against the attacks from thugs in some parts of Lagos, which has denied them the freedom to vote the candidate of their choice. The youths were heard as they chant ‘We must vote’. This video has led to a lot of reactions and comments from Nigerians online.
Reacting to the video, a twitter user with the handle name ‘Tyler Perry’s guy’ commented, “Residents should arise all over Lagos and defend their Franchise”.
