The Delta State Information Commissioner, Dr Ifeanyi Osuoza has invited Deltans and residents in the state to join Governor Sheriff Oborevwori tomorrow in giving thanks through festival of worship and praise to God.

In a statement issued today, Osuoza said the invitation became necessary because of the governor belief and conviction in God in the governance of the state.
He therefore appealed to Deltans and residents to join Oborevwori in a Christian festival of praise and worship to mark the governor one year in office.
The festival billed for tomorrow at Event Centre, Asaba begins at 11am.
A galaxy of gospel music Artistes shall grace the occasion.

His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orhowedor Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State, has consistently reaffirmed his unwavering belief and conviction of the hand of God and the Grace and divine intervention of the Almighty in his life and affairs, which manifested again in his emergence as the Executive Governor of Delta State.
For as he rightly testified, according to the scriptures in Ecclesiastes 9vs11: “the race is not for the swift, nor the battle for the strong, neither yet bread to the wise nor yet riches to men of understanding nor yet favour of men of skill, but time and chance happened to them all.”
Let us join His Excellency Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, to give God all the thanks, praise and glory in a Christian festival of praise and worship, as he celebrates the one year anniversary of his administration, with a rich array and galaxy of the finest Gospel Artistes in Nigeria, on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the Event Centre, Asaba, by 11am.
