The gubernatorial candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA), Mr Great Ogboru, has said he has no regrets leaving Labour Party (LP).
Great Ogboru made his position know in an interview with BBC News Pidgin where he spoke about Peter and the fortunes of LP in the presidential election and upcoming gubernatorial election in the state.
Great Ogboru said, “I don’t regret leaving labour party (LP) because with or without Peter Obi, I will be in politics.” He added, “if you check the labour party’s record, you will realize that I was once a governorship candidate in that party.”
Speaking further, Great Ogboru said, “when Peter Obi came, labour party gained more grounds which was why I supported his presidential ambition. Unfortunately, we were cheated by those in Abuja.”
Lastly, Great Ogboru said, “the truth is that everyone knows in Delta that the upcoming election is my mandate. They know who I am. Senator Omo-agege’s mandate is in Delta central and we gave that to him.”
