Dr. Michael Nwoko(The Political Oshobe) is a distinguished public health expert, community/youth development advocate, and fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, United Kingdom. He is a significant political figure hailing from the Royal Family of Idumuje-Ugboko kingdom, Aniocha North LGA of Delta State.

Dr. Nwoko, who is also a member of the Harvard Alumni Association and a member of the American Public Health Association, is the Chief of staff to Distinguished Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko representing Delta North Senatorial District in the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

His expertise extends to grassroots mobilization and the advancement of the health sector. He has held various leadership positions, notably influencing health monitoring/evaluation and political campaigns.

Dr. Nwoko’s contributions have earned him multiple awards and affiliations with esteemed global health organizations.

Dr. Michael Nwoko was inducted as a fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, United Kingdom on September 10, 2021 due to his Public Health roles in Delta State and Nigeria at large particular during the COVID-19 era where he worked tirelessly to ensure safety of the people in the wake of the deadly virus.

This is the reason he earned an award of Excellence (Delta State Anti COVID-19 Champion of the Year) by Delta State Guild of Journalists, Lagos Branch in Oct. 2020
