Footage showing the moment operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, broke into the Maitama home of Former Imo Governor, Rochas Okorocha has emerged.

In the now-viral video, Okorocha can be seen panicking as the operatives smashed through the ceiling of his home. They also destroyed bullet-proof doors at the entrance of the building.

It can be recalled that early on Tuesday the commission dispatched its men to arrest the serving senator over his involvement in a N2.9 billion fraud.

According to the commission, Okorocha jumped bail and has refused to honour several invitations sent to him.

However, the controversial politician still refused to comply and holed himself up in the house. After 9 hours of discussions, arguments and a protest, the operatives were able to force him out of the house.

He was quickly led to a waiting bus and taken away.
