The principal of Saint Anthony’s Modek College, Ubulu-Uku, Sir Azubuike Enemuwe, has described the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, as a great leader who keeps his words.

He made this known on Tuesday at the council secretariat, Ogwashi-Uku shortly after receiving a band set, trumpet and table tennis board presented to the college by the council boss.

“I have been a principal for over five years and I must say that this is the first time that I am seeing a public servant fulfill his promise in less than a week.

“The chairman came to our inter-house sports. Right there, he pledged to get us a table tennis board and a band set. I am so happy today receiving them”, Azubuike said.

Earlier, Chukwunwike who graduated from Saint Anthony’s in 1988 explained that the school was in his days respected for its resounding musical band.

His words: “I graduated from St. Anthony’s Model College in 1988. Back then, we were known for good music that was produced by our quality band set. So, it touched me to hear that the school rented the band used during the last inter-house sports competition. I also decided to donate a table tennis board having learnt that the students won gold medal in a tennis tournament even without having one to train with in the school”, Chukwunwike added.
