Collection Of PVC, Fuel For PDP’s Rescue Mission, says Chukwunwike

The enthusiasm of the people, their mobilization and support towards the collection of the Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) are fueling the resolve of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to rescue Nigerians from pain inflicted on them by the misrule of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, made the assertion at Olodu community, Aniocha South local government area, while monitoring PVC collection exercise last Saturday.

According to Chukwunwike, Chairman, Aniocha South local government area, politics in Nigeria has grown beyond lip service but action of what government has done and doing for his people over a period of time.

He noted that people no longer follow campaign slogan of parties or persons but are swayed by quality leadership hinged on quality representation, character and respect for the masses.

One of the residents, a septuagenarian identified as chief Obiaka Josi reiterated the community’s trust for PDP.

“We are not going anywhere else. PDP is our party”, Josi assured.

He observed that Pastor Chukwunwike is the first and only council boss to visit the town while still in power.

“You are the only Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area that visited Olodu. You have shown that you are not just a politician, but also a leader that understands the needs of his people”, he stated.
