The Delta State Newmedia community today described some projects executed by the executive chairman of Aniocha South LGA, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, as the first of its kind anywhere in the state.

Speaking during the visit, Mr. Ossai Ovie Success who led a team of Newmedia personalities on a courtesy visit to the executive chairman at the council Secretariat in Ogwashi-Uku, said the Council Chapel and Lodge were the first of its kind anywhere in the state.

The team were conducted round the council by Hon. Jude Chukwunwike, who took the media practitioners round the newly constructed Council Chapel, the reconstructed Executive Block, the Council Lodge and machinery acquired by his administration for road construction works.

The council boss also took the opportunity to outline some of his projects in various communities outside the council premises to include, the construction of a modern abattoir inside the popular Afor Market Ogwashi-Uku, reconstruction of a weaving centre for skills acquisition in Ubulu-Uku, completion of a portable water project in Ubulu-Uku, construction of several roads linking communities in Aboh, and some other parts of the LGA.

He also highlighted that his administration distributed Toyota Sienas as logistics vehicles, as well as motorcycles to leaders of Community Vigilante groups to help boost security in the Aniocha South LGA, among many other phenomenal accomplishments. In addition, he enumerated the remarkable achievements of his administration in the area of environmental sanitation.

Speaking on his national award at the recently held Nigeria Local Government Merit Award (LOGMA), he thanked the Almighty God for his grace and the people of Aniocha South for their support.

The administration of Hon. Chukwunwike is currently building an ultramodern motor park in Ubulu-Uku.
