Delta State Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Samuel Marierie, has commended Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area for his vision of providing Infrastructure in communities in the area as he commissions borehole in Ubulu-uku
Mariere described Chukwunwike as a good man whose administration is practically committed to the wellbeing of the people.
Mr Mariere said the people of Aniocha South should thank God for giving them God rearing and visionary leader like Pastor Chukwunwike.
Also Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Chukwunwike restated his administration’s commitment for more democracy dividends to the people.
“With your support, my administration is ready to deliver more dividends of democracy to the people of Aniocha South.
“What we are doing today is in line with vision of His Excellency, Senator, Dr Ifeanyi to build infrastructure. So, I wish to use this occasion to appreciate His Excellency, for his monumental achievements across the State”, the council boss said.
The Aniocha South Council Boss then listed some of the projects executed under his watch to include: the construction of ultra modern borehole at Ubulu-Uku;
construction of Aniocha South Local Government chapel, construction of Abattoir in Ogwashi-Uku market and the Council’s op city gate among others.
Amidst thunderous ovation by excited residents of the community who came out in large numbers to appreciate him, Chukwunwike thanked God for the opportunity to serve the people. He noted that the visible positive changes in the LGA are signs of God’s divine handiwork.
He thanked his people for their peaceful disposition and support for his administration and urged them to continue to be law abiding.
“We will continue to do our best in line with every promise that have made, that came out of our mouth and by the special grace of God, more projects which we have started will be launched soon” he promised.
