The novelty match organised in honour of the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area as part of his birthday activities, Tuesday ended one goal apiece.

The match which was between Team JC and Team Aniocha South had Councilors from various communities play against the all-stars football club.

Though the all-stars dominated the game, scoring first, the resilience of the lawmakers team brought in the needed balancing adjustment.

According to pundits, 1-1 score is the perfect representation of the personality of Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, who had shown within time as council chairman that he’s by all intents and purposes a people’s person.

Moving from Jay-Jay Okocha Stadium, the celebrant and his entourage moved to the Ogwashi-Uku General Hospital were he paid medical treatment bill of a patient.

He also visited three orphanage homes visited in Aniocha South and Oshimili South with food items; ranging from cartoons of noodles, biscuits, soaps, bags of rice and mattresses.

At the orphanage homes the inmates were elated at the chairman’s gestures and took turns to pray for him for God to be rewarded bountifully so as to keep coming to should them kindness.

May he never lack any good thing and God’s protection and bless him. They prayed that “No weapon fashioned against him will never prosper”.

While reflecting on the days activities Hon. Pastor Chukwunwike expressed gratitude first, to Almighty God who by his grace who has divinely taken him from a humble background to an elevated platform he occupies today.

“I am equally overwhelmed with the support of the people who put together the flootball match to celebrate the day with me. I learnt that two Councilors out of 3 sponsored the match, bought all the Jerseys and ensured that every other thing is in place.

I pray that Almighty God will bless them as we join forces to lift Aniocha South to greater heights”, he added.
