The Chairman, Aniocha South Local Government Area, Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, on Saturday, commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the peaceful conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly poll in the country. the
Speaking to journalist at Abuedo Primary School Ubulu-Uku, ward 5, unit 7, on Saturday shortly after casting his votes, Chukwunwike said voter turn out was impressive and that the machines have been working well except for minor issues that the officials of the electoral empire addressed.
Aniocha South LGA, Chairman, who voted after being accredited by the INEC officials, also, commended President Muhammadu Buhari for ensuring that there was fairness in the election.

He also commended voters at his Ubulu-uku ward for orderly conduct while the exercise lasted,”l must truly say thanks to INEC for what I are seeing at the moment and we say thank you to Mr. President for ensuring that there is fairness in this election” he said.
“I want to personally thank INEC on behalf of residents of Aniocha South. The election so far has been smooth sailing but there were pockets of issues that were surmounted by INEC immediately we called them.
“Generally speaking, the turn out is encouraging. The process is okay. The Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) is a new process but it doesn’t seem new because our people have acclamatised to it. The process is peaceful and there is progress”, the council boss told newsmen after voting at Unit 7, Ward 5.
