A chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anocha South Local Government, and Director General, Asaba Capital Territory, Hon Joan Amaechi had charged party faithfuls to gear up for the mobilsation of voters to ensure total victory for the party come 2023.

Hon Amaechi gave the charge during the inauguration of special committies in the constituency towards total victory st the polls. He called on party faithfuls not to leave anything to chance as no meaningful victory comes by chance but hard work.

Topmost among the committees inaugurated in Aniocha South constituency; are the Fund Raise and Campaign committees.

Chief A. C. Okocha, a chieftain of the party.is to head the fund raise committee while Director General, Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, Rt. Hon. Joan Onyemaechi, popularly known as Ada-Anioma heads the Campaign Committee.

Speaking at the occasion, Rt. Hon. Onyemaechi said that politics has always created room for everybody that is willing to make an impact.

According to her, it only takes a short while for people to prove themselves, adding that there are opportunities for persons with the ability and zeal to make a difference at local, state and federal levels.

“When you give your best, you are marketing yourself. There was a time in Aniocha South when leaders of our party at that time will not allow me join meetings where they are discussing. But, it took only a short while for me to prove myself as a person that can make a difference.

“Don’t make the mistake of thinking that you are working for PDP or its candidates because in actual fact, this is an opportunity for you to market yourself”, Adanioma added.

Other members of the Campaign Committee are Mr. Dumebi Amukpume (Secretary), Mr. Uzu Ebele Emmanuel (Organising Secretary), Mr. Mark Awayai (Assistant Secretary) and Engr. Lawrence Chukwumaejiofor (Financial Secretary).

Also in the Fund Raise Committee include Hon. Paul Adingupu (Deputy Chairman), Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike (Treasurer) and Hon. Austin Chikezie (Secretary).
