Delta State Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, has congratulated Comrade Sonia Unobunjo on her election as the 5th Chairperson of Nigerian Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Delta State chapter.
In a congratulatory message on Monday, Aniagwu felicitated with the newly-elected NAWOJ chairperson and members of her executive and wished them a successful tenure.
The Commissioner expressed willingness to continue having a robust and sustained working relationship with the ministry and NAWOJ.
“On behalf of management and staff of the Delta State Ministry of Information, I congratulate you on your election as the Chairperson of Nigerian Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Delta State chapter.
“Over the years you have given a good account of yourself as a well trained journalist and comrade in the struggle.
“These years of hardwork and dedication no doubt culminated in the implicit confidence reposed in you and members of your exco by NAWOJ Delta Chapter to lead them.
“It is my wish that you use your good office to foster good working relationship between your colleagues and our ministry and the entire state government.
“As you commence the journey of your leadership of the union, it is my prayer that God will grant you the wisdom to pilot the affairs of the union to glory of God and humanity,” Aniagwu stated.
“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta, I congratulate my dear brother, an outstanding statesman and astute businessman, Mr Peter Obi, on his 61st birth anniversary.
“On this auspicious occasion in your life, I join your family, friends and well-wishers to thank Almighty God for His continued goodness to you,” Okowa stated.
